Spanish Wine

On the nose aromas of white fruits (pears) and bananas, with light floral hints. On the palate, the wine is beautifully balanced with refreshing acidity and delicate fruit flavours. The finish is long and subtle. ABV 12.5%. Grape variety is Viura (100%)

The little extra rounding from the Merlot adds a plumy mid-palate weight to this richly spicy and expressive wine. This really is splendid value; a very good choice to go with a mid-week supper, even, dare one suggest, although one does not necessarily endorse such things, to accompany a meal in front of the TV.

This Rueda wine is one of Spain's most fashionable and modern whites. Exuberant floral and peachy aromas, typical from the Verdejo grape, and a distinct banana and exotic fruit character. The perfect acidity gives freshness and vigour to the wine and a finish that is long and expressive.

Cherry-red in colour with violet-hue rim. On the nose - red fruits and liquorice, with a pleasant herbaceous quality. On th epalate it is well-structured and fresh, with a long and very fruity finish.

lemon grass and green apple. Very nice minerally-ness to it. It had a higher-than-average acidity, which made this medium-bodied wine nice and crisp.

Intense ruby-red colour with great depth. On the nose, aromas of vanilla and cinnamon mingle with notes of mature fruit. On the palate the wine is smooth and round, with good body and well-integrated, sweet tannins. ABV 13.5%. Grape variety is Tempranillo (100%)

Goes well with all meat dishes however prepared. A perfect partner to a Leg of New Season Welsh Lamb stuffed with wild garlic, rosemary and anchovies.
