The family produces only one blend in the classic Bordeaux style. This surprisingly smooth and very elegant wine displays superb upfront flavours and a delightful, long finish. It has more body and character than the typical French Bordeaux, but is less complex and with a lower alcohol content than the average South African blend.

The Chateau lies east of St-Emillion. The wine is a blend of 75% Black Merlot, 25% Cabernet Franc. The vintage has a deep and dense purple colour. It is structured, highly developed and full in the mouth. This vintage is of rare elegance for 2007 and brings together, in perfect balance, the characters of the best vintages.

Intense nose of tropical fruit and caramel. In the mouth, it has more caramel, melons and a touch of grass. Very pleasant creamy mouthfeel. Medium long finish with some barrel toast. Some evidence of oak
