A very pretty Riesling with lots and lots of pretty fruit. True to its name this really is peachy the juicy orange-blush kind. It almost tastes off-dry but there is only 4 g/l of residual sugar. Lime and wet sand minerality providing a frame of reference.
A weightier style of Grüner than some, including Pfaffl's own The Dot Apple Grüner, thanks to a later harvest and more skin contact. Rich apple fruit, with a hint of pepper and a mineral, citrus zesty finish.
Jancis Robinson.com (28/02/17) 'There's something almost coconutty, but on the whole the wine is very young, very neutral, lots of post-fermentation banana esters. This is probably the least successful of The Dot range at the moment, but it might well improve with a few more months in bottle. (TC) ' Tamlyn Currin 15.0 / 20
